Microgreens FAQ
Microgreens FAQ
What are microgreens?
Microgreens are young vegetable and herb greens harvested about one to three weeks after sprouting, right after their first true leaves appear. They are small but packed with flavor and nutrition, often several times more nutrient dense than the mature plant.
Do you deliver to my area?
Yes. TC Greens is based in Tega Cay, SC and delivers fresh microgreens across Tega Cay, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and south Charlotte. Because we grow locally, your greens are cut the morning they reach you.
How long do microgreens last?
Stored properly in the fridge, our microgreens typically stay fresh for one to two weeks. Because they are harvested close to delivery instead of shipped from far away, they last noticeably longer than most store bought greens.
How does the subscription work?
Choose your greens and a delivery frequency at checkout and we deliver on a regular schedule so you never run out. You can change or pause your subscription anytime.
How should I store them?
Keep them in their container in the refrigerator. A dry paper towel in the container helps absorb moisture and keeps them crisp. Rinse just before using.
How are your microgreens grown?
We grow them locally in Tega Cay in a clean, controlled environment and harvest at peak freshness. No long distance shipping and no sitting on a shelf for days.
What do I use microgreens for?
Add them to eggs, sandwiches, tacos, salads, bowls, smoothies, and dips, or use them as a fresh garnish. They add flavor, crunch, color, and a nutrition boost to almost any dish.
Do you sell to restaurants?
Yes. We supply fresh, cut to order microgreens to local restaurants on a weekly schedule. Visit our Restaurants and Retail page or contact us to set up wholesale.
